What is felt and how is Felt-making

Felt is a textile product which is non woven and is known primal product all over the world. It was found many felt pieces by archeological excavates at all over the world. The primal felt samples which was found up until now, is clashing to 6,500 BC. And it is exhibiting at St. Petersburg Hermitage Museum.

Autobiography

I was born in 1960. I’ve graduated from business administration division of faculty of political sciences. I have started to paint workout at Kayhan Keskinok’s studio on 1995. I have received master degree training at paint division of fine arts faculty of Hacettepe University on 2004.

Besides of paint works, I’ve stated to work on wall panel made by felt as a hobby, then this act was enhanced by different aims and has became divert production. At the beginning I was using prepared felt but I realized that it was not useful work then I’ve started to produce it by my self. By this purpose I’ve got training from Mehmet Girgic who is felt expert in Konya.
